Aconitum napellus L.

Monkshood it’s always where we would not like it to be: between our delicious Goat’s beard (Aruncus dioicus) and/or blue alpine sowthistle (Cicerbita alpina) shoots. That’s why I never teach those two to beginners. A  moment’s carelessness could be lethal. A deep search on the internet and in my botany books returned no results on what it looks like in early springtime. Luckily I found it among my pictures.
